it's a form of jet-lag. This usually takes a few days to adjust your biorythm. The reason why you have trouble getting asleep is because your body is used to go to bed later. You'll get fustrated when you still can't sleep after one hour. The result is that you'll get so fustrated that you have even more trouble sleeping.

The average sleep of one person is about 8 hours of sleep. So it's not a big deal if you go to bed earlier or later. Go to sleep when you feel like sleeping. And don't get fustrated when you can't fall asleep. Instead, get up again, go to the kitchen for a glass of water, walk around a bit, and then return to bed. You'll be amazed how fast you'll fall asleep then!

I have the same problem it takes my body ages to get use to me going to bed at a certain time! I just lay in bed and try to relax even tho it takes me ages to fall asleep.

Heyy
Fraid this hasnt happened to me though wow that must be annoyin.. u'v become pretty aware of it though so careful it doesn become a mental thing as if u tell urself u cant sleep yet cos its too early or bright outside. U could maybe go for a walk before bed, or have a relaxing bath to try tire u out a bit.. don't worry about it, u'll adjust ok! :) x

The mind is playing tricks on you. Just go to bed your usual time, even if you don't sleep, just lay there, and sooner or later you will fall asleep.

The more you think about it, the more it will affect you. You could also turn the clock back and hour and see what happens, but, when you get up turn it back to regular time. You will have an extra hour in the morning and you will not be late for work.

yo me too today i went to sleep at 6 in the morning woke up at 3 wtf is going on i need to no how to help that too!

It usually takes a few days to a week to reset your body clock If you are still having problems, you should see a Dr and see if there is something else causing your sleep problems.

umm.... what you are experiencing happens to a very very small number of people. If you really can't deal with it you can get melatonin, it is an over the counter drug which will help your body get adjusted to the new time. Or any other sleep aid should also be fine.

When you go to a pharmacy.. the pharmacists usually give good advise on what to do. Also on cnn.com/health there is an article about this, covered by Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
