EVERYONE: how do you relax?!


Question: what is everyones way of relaxing? id like to hear anything nad everything please. im having some stress anxiety problems and ive tried a few things and nothing has really worked that well. thanks

Inspirational music and meditation.

The latter is easy: just take the phone off the hook, disconnect the poota, put a don't disturb note on the door - or tell everyone to leave you be - then sit in a comfy chair, close eyes (Daniel san) and take a few slow deep breaths. Then just OBSERVE your breathing.

In...out...in...out... etc. Just watch your breath. Observe it. Don't alter in any way. Keep bringing your thoughts back to your breath... do this for about 5 mins to start, gradually build to 10.

Keep a notebook handy if you have sudden urges to DO something - write it down, then return to the meditation. In time, you will find you can do it anywhere any time.

This may be hard at first. Lay down and think about nothing, think about a blank white page. Listen to your heart beat. Then try ti visualize yourself flying in the clouds,

masturbate while its raining

I meditate. In a silence airconditioned room. Alone, with the only a small light in the corner. And a calming music. I just feel so silent while doing it. I like it when it is raining... the sound of the water droplets further relaxes me...

the way i do it is i light incense and a candle i put on like smooth jazz or classical music and lay on my bed and read
it really helps me ALOT

Do something every day that tires you out. I never have a problem sleeping because I am very active , and its a natural progression to sleep when you are physically tired.
