What's the best way to turn sadness into something creative?!

Question: Pick up a pencil or a paintbrush ... write or draw what is on your mind.

It doesn't matter a bit whether you have talent. Draw a picture, write a poem (who cares if it rhymes!), paint slashes across the paper ...

Or just make a list ... write down every thing you can think of that is circular (a cd, a sink-drain, a tire, the iris of your eye) ...

Make up a nonsense sentence ... "Brown dogs eat pink clover" ... and see how many words you can make from the letters ...

WHAT you do is not as important as that you actually DO SOMETHING ... if it helps you feel better, that's good. If it makes you laugh, that is even better!

by not turning it into something creative, seriously people like you cause a lot of suicides each year.

what are you good at? poetry? music? visual arts? i would try to find an outlet that works for you and then try to use it to express the emotion. for example, i'm not usually very good at writing, but one time i sat down and wrote a poem because i was feeling so hopeless - i think it was one of the best things i ever wrote. you ever seen the painting "the scream" by edvard munch? that's one of the saddest paintings i've ever seen - and yet it's really good.

MARIJUANA, preferably a strong sativa-based strain, get those creative juices flowing

When I'm sad I write poetry. You could draw, create a song, sing it out loud. Write a book about a boy/girl in your predicament. It's simply up to you. These are just some ideas you hold the right answer.

Make someone elses day by doing a good deed. When you see a smile on their face you will then have one too.

My friend usually plays the violin, music maybe?

Be around those you love and that love you.And take time to reflect maybe start writing down your feelings.
