Dont give up.
Please.
If you can sing at all without stuttering, then speech pathology can help you - its just a matter of finding the right "fit" in therapist or the right therapist.

Well..first of all, don't be nervous. Practice talking slowly to yourself and calm down. It takes time though. In a conversation, if you start stuttering, close your eyes and take a deep breath and start talking again.

I stutter a lot too.

It may be an old wife's tell but, it is said that placing a small pebble in your mouth will make you more conscious of how you are pronouncing words. It has also been shown that wearing ear plugs so that you can not hear the words as you are saying them helps. Maybe listening to music as you are talking might help as well. Something about the feedback from hearing your own words can interfere with the speech portion of the brain. Don't worry too much about what others think. Teenagers can be especially cruel. They will soon mature. and, as you gain confidence the stuttering should subside and may even disappear completely. Check out (google) Mel Tillis you may never have heard of him but, he is a rather famous Country&Western singer. He stuttered most of his life, but has a beautiful singing voice. He eventually learned not to stutter but sometimes uses it in his act. Not to mock people who stutter but, as a little self depricating humor.

Hon, i've never had this problem, but i know someone who did....

I have taken some time to find you a couple websites on stuttering self-help. i hope these might give you some insight? take care and i wish you all the best!
