Recovery From Depression?!

Question: For a long-time i've been suffering from depression, insomnia and general stress.
I've no begun treatment and started feeling better and im 22 years old.
My question is in this time my hair has become very dry and thin and even falling out, my eyes are very sunken and dark and my skin also is very dry.
I was wondering if after i'm fully recovered these symptoms will disapear.
Thanks

Some of these symptoms may disappear on their own, but there are ways to deal with them if they persist..If your hair is dry & thin, change your type of shampoo to one that gives the hair more volume..If you have lost weight, work on getting on a proper diet of nutritious & healthy foods. There are types of makeup that can help conceal dark circles around the eyes..I congratulate you for seeking hellp for your depression--take care of that first, & the rest will take care itself..

Well, first, not everyone is able to be "fully recovered" from depression, we just learn to cope with it.

Severe depression and stress causes you to not take care of yourself the way you should. The depression alone won't cause the problems you mention, so treatment for depression alone won't fix them. What they will do is give you the drive to take care of yourself again.

With your eyes being sunken in and dark, and your dry skin, you need to be making sure you're drinking plenty of water, since those are also signs of dehydration. Use lotion. Eat right. Avoid caffienne after about six or seven oclock at night, so it won't cause you to be wired when you need to be resting.

Your hair problem is more likely to resolve itself when you are less stressed and are taking care of yourself, but it's possible you could need a hair regrowth treatment.

With all these problems, you need to talk to your doctor, though, and ask him or her your questions.
