Disorder? Not sleeping, stress, and worry????????????????!

Question: I can never fall asleep. My mind is always racing. I'm always stressed and worried. Is there a disorder that would combine worry and lack of sleep? ALL THE TIME I'm worried --- about the littlest, most insignificant things too.

14 years.

It sounds like an anxiety disorder. 14 is a very stressful age. Just RELAX & know this too shall pass. :-)

I am the same way-some ppl just worry more than others.

sounds like anxiety. you need to ask your parents to sent you to a therapist, or talk to your school counselor or teacher about whats going on. someone you trust to help you. and when you panic try to take slow deep breaths.

you've been reported to be like yesterday's shooter

Why Worry? Worry is just a waste of time. How is worry EVER going to help you in anything.

Instead of worriness, you should replace it with faith. Faith in yourself.

If you keep getting random negative thoughts, just push them aside and think about the positive. Try to switch your mind set.

you may have anxiety. go to your doctor they will be able to tell you what you have. then browse the internet for solutions to help your problem.

consume a b-complex vitamin. It will help over time. Also get 30 mins to an hour of exercise daily. Drink 1 cup of chammomile Tea before going to be. Also, get more of a "screw it" attitude. Dont worry so much. If this wont help, than nothing will! Unless you get some meds.....which i dont suggest.

Maybe some mental after effect.
You are young to worry about everything!
Try to change your life style. Reduce TV before sleep, bad habits, find a girl or something that will fulfill you. Just free your mind. When are you going to do that if not now!
LIFE IS SHORT.

its called anxiety and its a ***** man. I have the same thing and I took pills for like 2 yrs to help me sleep and I decided that I did not want to be on them anymore. I tend to light up now right before I go to bed otherwise I am up in like 3 hours and that is it. There is a drug called trazadone that I took for a like a year and a half and I took it before bedtime to take away my anxiety and it knocked me out in 2 minutes and slept all night. If you really have tried all of alternative on the links, you should go to your doctor and ask for it. It will restore normalcy to your life.

I recommend to talk to the doctor without your parents present so that you can let the doctor know everything and he wil be able to help you with this. My anxiety began after I was t-boned by a semi-truck in my car on a highway. Basically, my remedy was to eat better and exercise in order to mantain my physical and mental heatlh. I understand what you are going through and I know that it is a situation that you cannot change over night. Remember that time changes everything and that eventually things will work themselves out. If not, hit up my messenger and you I will be happy to listen or give some advice. You dont have sleep apnea, just anxiety and youll be ok. If you do want to get on meds though, ask for that stuff bc it is better than any sleeping pill that you can get and it slow everything upstairs to a manageable level.

aniexty and depression..i do not sleep unless i take sleeping meds and muscle relaxants...i have severe depression..ptsd and fibermyligia...i worry alot..have learn to keep myself busy doing things i like...seems t o help...
