Is she on drugs?!

Question: My best friend has changed dramatically in a period of about 2-3 months. She's lost interest in a lot of things, she lost weight, she's become less open and way more secretive. She's always complaining about chest pains, and while she's pretty well rested she has red baggy eyes. She's super energetic at times. What could it be? Thanks for any help, I care about her a lot becuase shes done a lot for me.

She's also not rich at all so I don't know what kind of help she can afford. But thanks in advance.

Sounds like she may have a problem here. She is majorly distracted by something else. If her attitude and behavior has changed drasticallly like you say it has then drug use is a strong possibility.

It appears as if her life is unmanageable. The first step is admitting that you are powerless over the drugs and alcohol and that your life is unmanageable. She won't manage to go to the emergency room to check on her chest pains. She's not keeping her looks up and her eyes are red, baggy and she's losing pounds of weight.

She needs to call Synergy Treatment Center in Memphis, TN. It is a treatment center that you don't have to have money or insurance to get into. You work for your treatment while you are there. The number is (901) 332-2227. The address is 2305 Airport Interchange. Ask for Jill , Intake Counselor.

God bless you. Hope this helps.

coke, or painkillers?

woo..id be concerned..she should get her check up done....u nevr know ...beter safe than sorry

I agree with the first girl. I'm thinking more pain pills than cocaine though. Why don't you talk to her first to see if it's drugs. Tell her you're concerned and that she's not been the same lately. If she is doing drugs she's going to need a good friend to help.
