Forgetful?!

Question: For my whole life, i've been very very forgetful. I would often lose things that cost a lot of money and that would always get my parents angry at me. Frequently, my forgetfulness is the cause of many of my family's unfortunate disasters.

I just want it to stop!! Is there anything i can take to help my memory?

u just have to EXERCISE your memory, there is no magic pill.. sorry. Reading is a great exercize.. umm.. even maybe a PUZZLE.. it operates different parts of your brain, and u have to remember wut u r looking for or what happened previously in the book. It takes time.. or possibly u have ADHD.. Good luck

Ask your doctor about it.

i had a good answer, but i totally forgot it!

just kidding. i would try meditating, it helps to calm and focus your mind and make you more mindful of what you are doing while you do it. it may help you to pay more attention to things in your life and remember them easier.

as the first answer. try exercising it. heres an exercise thats completely harmless and wont hurt anyone. put a penny in your pocket and at the end of the day, remember to take it out of your pocket so the washing machine doesnt get screwy. do this over a period of a week and hopefully it will help jog your memory. good luck!

Those that are most organized and focused tend to keep notes of rememberence. It would be a good habit to write down things to remember and continually check and update your list. You should speak to your parents and tell them of your concern about this and if they would help you? A doctor and or therapist may be able to help? Perhaps there is an underlying reason with your family which is the cause of your forgetfullness and needs to be confronted?

try keeping a agenda of things
