I need help please?!
Question: I told my best friend Amanda, that I cut myself. She told me that she loves me I have 2 stop. I lied and told her I did. She saw a cut on my leg. She asked me about it. I just walked away. She said she knows what I'm doing. She started crying and said she is going 2 tell my mom. I can't believe she would do this 2 me. How can I stop her? I'm 18. I have been doing this for 5years.

What? Don't be mad at her. She does love u that's y she is telling. U matter 2 her. How do u think she feels. She is trying 2 help u. U don't want to help urself. She is a good friend don't be mad. U need 2 call her and say thank you.

Well I mean if u really do then u should get some help but if its a lie then just talk to her. Have a very deep conversation with her and explain everything thats going on

Ask her not to, tell your mom and that you will promise her that you will stop. Ask her to give you one more chance to prove yourself. But, if this works, do not take it as an easy way out. You must work on this, it will be hard, but when you have beaten it you will feel happy and relieved.

you go cold turkey throw away all your knives and sharp objects and let amanda watchh you every hour and let her make sure that there are nomore sharp objects aroun you and you make her a dill tell her if you dont cut yourself for a year she want tell your mom
I myself have never understood cutting yourself on purpose.
I'd say don't stop her, maybe there is a deaper reason behind it? School, love, life, stress?
Lets her tell your mom, she is telling because she cares for you and she feels like your sister and loves you. Sisters help eachother instead of looking the other way.
If I had a wife who cut herself or a friend who cut himself, I would confront him, if I didn't know how, I would TELL someone and find that help.

Cutting is a form of self-abuse and a sign of a very deep psychological problem. You need to get help and it has obviously gone past the point where you can help yourself or stop on your own. Perhaps you do want help, but are ashamed or embarrased for your mom to find out. Don't be. Your mom and friend love you and will make sure you find the right professional to speak to. You obviously have some deep seated issues to work through.
And you have a good friend. Hopefully you will be able to thank you one day.
