What are some reasons that would make it difficult to awaken in the morning?!

Question: No matter what time I go to sleep, or how many hours of sleep I get (and I get enough most of the time), I still can't get up in time. I snooz till the last minute, even though I had 7 to 9 hours sleep. My mind seems to play tricks on me, and I shut off the alarm, or dream I woke up, or I tell myself I don't have to be on time. Not surprising I've lost plenty a job, but I seem wired this way.

Been tested for anemia and diabeties, both negative.

When I was a teen, I yelled at my mom at got angry when woken up. Now I live alone, and it's on me to get my azz up!

I have the same problem. I notice however, that when I first wake up , I am not that groggy. It's when I close my eyes and fall back to sleep, that makes it really difficult to get up.

Place the alarm clock out of reach, and make it very loud. That way you have to get out of bed.
