Interesting question?!

Question: when you have a metal disorder is it just all in the head isn't it something the body does what the brain tells it to do so if you keep worrying that your going crazy you actually feel like your going crazy and if you do have a mental disorder is all it is just you think theres something wrong with you and the brain is telling you there is but your actually doing fine like if you think things are not real that you see you will start thinking your in a dream so can you overcome a mental disorder by just stop thinking about it

Yes, in a word. You may have heard of CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) According to that, what you think affects how you feel and what you do. So changing what you think (or believe) can help.

I personally think mental disorders are very much about threat and fear, what you're scared of, and what you consider a danger. I do believe there is a biological component to it, but thats my opinion.

Try a self help help group.

Are you talking about my ex-boyfriend??

oh yeah

It is neurological, I believe.

I think i know what you mean. Difficult to understand without punctuation.

No, certainly not. A mental disorder is usually due to an imbalance of hormones in the brain. So it's not thinking that causes them, it's hormones.

WHAT?!?!
Are you trying to say that you can overcome a mental disorder by thinking you dont have one?!!?!?
NO!

yea, ur five year old self would think ur weird

If you are thinking these things, slow down a little, take them 1 at a time, and find out.

well i have schizophrenia
and i see things and hear things that arent there
and stuff
I dont think it is you think your crazy or anything
it has something to do with the chemical balance in your head
and just your veiw on things weather you think that glass is half full or half empty stuff like that.
But it is mainly some chemical imbalance in your brain

If you are going through puberty, know that everyone has
angst. Be patient, trust in yourself, those feelings are part of the change that we all go through. Soon you will find yourself

Mental health problems are often a result of a chemical imbalance in the brain, abnormal levels of serotonin and dopamine have been associated with depression. But the more you think about negative thoughts the easier it becomes to think negative thoughts, this also applies to positive thoughts : ), a phrase I like to use is practice makes perfect.

p.s I apologise if the chemical names are spelt incorrectly.

longest run on scentence ever.

that question wasn't that interesting.
