Have you tried http://www.flylady.net? She's another ADD'er and the methods for keeping a house clean can be used to organize just about anything. It is more like a way of thinking.

Start where you are, take baby steps, attack clutter a little bit each day, only handle it once, label stuff, develop routines, and if you fall off the wagon, don't beat yourself up, just get back on again!

It isn't easy, but this is one aspect of ADD that gets easier as you mature, particularly if you work at it.

The thing that has made life easiest for me is to figure out my priorities, and reduce things down to the basics.Like: I'd like to do Xmas cards and make fudge for everyone I know, but that's not reasonable right now, but it is ok because I got ___, which is really important accomplished. My favorite part of lists are the parts that I get to check off because they're done!

Best of luck!

Try to keep things simple and routine. I think that (as much as you possibly can) it will help you to have a very well-established schedule which you follow religiously. It may be a bit 'boring' but it can help you to keep yourself (internally and externally) organized.
Another suggestion, which I use, is making lists.

Write things down. Keep several different notepads in different places so that they don't get moved around too much (one in the kitchen for groceries, one by the phone, one by your computer).

Own a planner that you can carry around with you. Keep all your info in it! Appointments, bills, dates, contact info...

Use your cell phone or your computer's desktop to give you alerts for things you have to remember in the future.

Get an accordion binder with sticker labels so you can keep important papers in there by type: receipt, car insurance info, health insurance info, tax info, etc. Or whatever else that you need to keep organized.

I would start by where you are the most or whats bothersome to you and then organize. I'm always organizing and getting rid of crap I don't need. It makes me feel better.
suggestions:
Closet--get rid of clothes you don't wear or don't feel comfortable in. get a shoe organizer with cubbie holes so you can see your shoes.
Bathroom-- get rid of old make-up, lotions, hair products and then find a make-up bag for just your make-up. Use a shoebox if you need to.
kitchen-- I just cleaned out a cabinet with old bottles of whatever. Now I can see all my spices and other things I need to cook with.

Also your car---Your in car a lot so I would think a clean organized car would help

You need to clean out these areas so they don't get cluttered.
