I am scared to death by a teacher?!
Question: have a severe problem with one of my teachers. I am in the 8th grade. i feel that my social studies teacher is bullying me. every time i go to ask him a question he always calls me dumb and says go sit down. i think he does this because i suffer with ADD. he always gives me detentions when i am not paying attention when he knows i have an attention problem. it really hurts me when he does this. sometimes this makes me not want to go school or do anything. i have cried repededly over the stuff he has dont to me and i don't know how to deal with this situiation. serious answers plz !

I totally understand what your going through. Same sort of thing happened to me in 8th grade. I had this math teacher that just hated me...i still have no idea why he did. I was a good student, respectful, id turn in my work on time. I did have trouble keeping up sometimes though id ask for help and hed say i already went over this im not doing it again just for you. Or he would not allow me to go to the bathroom and do extra credit. He was a horrible teacher maybe he was racist because im hispanic. But what makes me mad is that i never did anything about it i never told friends, teachers, family, or anybody because i was embarassed. Please dont do the same, you'll regret it and nobody deserves to be treated like this. Talk to the school principal & counselor. They will help alot im sure of it.
try getting your school sued ;-)
I know it might be hard but print out or write exactly what you just said and give it to him.
If you can't confront him have a friend give it to him or talk to one of the school counselors
In my seventh grade year my athletics coach made me run extra laps because one day I had a schizo moment and started freaking (this was before I was medicated) I just fell onto the track and held my breath until I passed out....it seemed like the only thing to do to get rid of the voices.....
Have you tried talking to your counselor or your mom? It seems like a meeting with your folks and this teacher is needed. GL
You should tell your parents about whats going on. It is rude of you teacher to do that you. Tell your parents and maybe then talk to your teacher one on one to figure out the issue.
you should go to ur principal and talk to him/her bout ur teacher, and so u know, dont think ur dumb because you have ADD( i have it too).So many people have it and adhd and they are so smart and stuff and being ADD doesnt have to do with ur knowledge, we jus have trouble concentrating, thats all.
Yay to the crap in the American education system.... okay you don't have to be afraid of this teacher, bring his behavior to the attention of your parents, principal, councelor and especially himself. If you can all sit down and work it out without blowing it completely out of porportion that would be better. Good Luck!
