Is this normal- memory loss?!

Question: i am 15 and i don't have any memories from before i was 11...

i've been noticing this the past few months when my parents bring up people that i knew when i was little, and i remember NOTHING about them
my earliest memory is a really bad fight with my dad when i was in 5th grade
but all of the "memories" from before then are things that i visualized in my head from pictures/stories that my parents told me or home videos (i know that they aren't things that i remember because it's not from my point of view, it's like i'm watching myself)
is this normal for me not to remember anything?
what could this memory loss be from?

You should post this in the psychological section.

According to Freudian Theory,
This could have something to do with child hood issue,
and you not remembering anything before the age of 11 is one of your ego defense mechanism trying to defend you from anxiety, whatever it may be. Post this in the psychology section, you should be getting more help there.

I'm 15 as well.. I'm sure its nothing we obviously can't remeber everything. The only things I remember are the old 90s cartoons I use to watch and some of my old friends from when I knew since I was a child but I grew up with them for mrore than 10 years so of course I remember them
Different people have different childhood memories. Some can recall more while others can't.

Emotional situations stick in our memory. But I would see a doctor, you might have a tumor in the brain. Better safe than sorry. That's why you have parents for, use their help.
