Is the food prepared by a loved one different from a stranger's?!

Question:

Is the food prepared by a loved one different from a stranger's?

I noticed that restaurant food is never as satisfying as a meal made by your own hands or somebody you know personally? Should I see a psychiatrist or this common? lol

Answers:

THERE IS DEFINITELY A DIFFERENCE. AS A CHILD I WOULD ONLY EAT MY MOTHER'S MEATBALLS. I WOULDN'T EVEN EAT MY GRANDMOTHERS MEATBALLS NEVERMIND EATING THEM IN A RESTURANT! NO WAY!! THERE WAS JUST SOMETHING ABOUT MY MOTHER'S MEATBALLS THAT MADE THEM TASTE SO GOOD. THEY WERE A LABOR OF LOVE. SHE WORKED SO HARD AT MAKING HER TOMATO GRAVY FROM SCRATCH. IT TOOK HOURS.
TODAY YOU CAN JUST GO TO THE STORE AND BUY IT IN A JAR , COME HOME , THROW IT IN A POT AND HEAT IT UP. NOT THE SAME AT ALL.
MY MOTHER IS NOW IN A NURSING HOME. NO MORE HOME COOKED MEALS MADE WITH LOVE. IT IS JUST NOT THE SAME ANYMORE.
