When the body metabolizes nutra sweet; it becomes methyl alcohol in your body, and that is literally poisoin for your system.

Splenda is a chlorine compound, another bad substance for the body. It breaks down into polychlorides. These are stored in the fatty tissues (including the brain and nervous system) and very diffucult for your body to get rid of them.

Sacharin causes cancer in lab animals.

If you want things sweetened; try useing plain ole sugar or stevia. Stevia is a natural herb. The sweeting component of stevia tastes different from sugar.

Most people use about 1/4tsp of stevia, and another 1/4 tsp of sugar to take the edge off.
