Digital radiography advantages and distadvantages on conventional radiography?!
Question:
Digital radiography advantages and distadvantages on conventional radiography?
Answers:
Digital enhancement can be useful in compensating for motion blur, errors in exposure, extremes of contrast (as well as lack of contrast) and it can also remove artifacts from the image. The problem with doing all these things, which are intended to make the image clearer, is that they interfere with - and can potentially hide - the information required to make an accurate diagnosis. The only definite and unarguable advantage to digital radiography in my opinion, is that they reduce the exposure of patients to radiation by compensating for human error.
