I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for but you might want to put this in polls too. I used to smoke but haven't in years, however, I think if it helps cancer patients or anyone with terminal or chronic pain and nausea, it should be legalized for these people and these people alone. My mother suffers from a disease of the spine and uses Oxycontin (i think that's how you spell it) a very strong narcotic. I would rather she smoke weed than take this drug sometimes.
I've seen how much it helps people and believe that it should be looked at, and discussed seriously.
My reason for quitting was because I never felt in control when I smoked weed, but I do remember using it when I had the flu once and it calmed the nausea I had to, almost non existent.
The benefits for people like my mother or my aunt who died in so much pain from cancer would be more positive than some of the drugs they use these days.
Even though I no longer smoke it, I am very pro medical marijuana. Hope this helps and good luck.
