Cold remedy for some tea with garlic, lemon, honey and ginger but recipe doesn't!

Question:

Cold remedy for some tea with garlic, lemon, honey and ginger but recipe doesn't say if I need to strain it

I got a remedy on here a while back and it was for some garlic, ginger tea. Recipe says to boil the juice of 2 lemons with about 2 cups of water. Then grate or slice up a 1 inch piece of fresh ginger and throw it into a thermos along with a clove or 2 of garlic and to also add in 1/8th to 1/4 cup of honey. Now I should pour the boiling juice into the thermos and then let this steep for 20-30 minutes. Sip this throughout the day.
It doesn't specify if I should strain this mixture - Do I need to strain it or should I drink it as is and another question when it says to add the garlic clove(s) do the cloves need to be minced up or should I throw them in whole? Anyone familiar with this remedy that can let me know?

Answers:

Mince the garlic, and yes strain it, unless you enjoy all the little chunks of stuff.
