Why is everything considered an aphrodisiac in Asia!?
Everything gross and/or weird, from bear gallstones to powdered tiger penis, you're always hearing about some animal part, the more rare and endangered the better, being considered an aphrodisiac in some Asian country. Seems to me they do pretty good over there already. They need some stuff that acts as a contraceptive!

I think it's because men are expected to be virile, so it has become a big thing, searching for stuff that will increase virility.
Incidentally, I came across ONE instance of some traditional Asian contraceptive: papaya (pawpaw) seeds supposedly decrease a man's sperm count.
But overall, the randier the man, the "bigger" he is. More children = more successful. It turns me off, quite frankly.
