Refill oxygen tanks safty?
it it safe to refill the large tank of o2 tank in squad .by means of cascade system.not talking about a scott tank but o2 medical tank, used to change tank by remove it replace with full green tank ,they say it cheaper to fill this way but is it safe to (to fill while bottle stays in squad ) d tank m tank

It is not safe to cascade fill in the squad because of friction. If you blow the ring it sounds like an explosion. Plus you should have the tank in water for the safest filling. If it would happen to explode, it could kill you with hundreds of pieces of flying metal like shrapnel So I agree with you, it is not safe.
He did say that he has cascade filled four tanks at once in a large watertank that they use for filling. He goes from tank to tank from highest to lowest pressure. They have four tank sizes d, b, m and s(something) (I have no idea what that means, he just rattled it off)
