A consumer report done here in Canada found out that many pills, vitamins etc lied in their content. The percentages were fake especially in multivitamins.

Do you know that the majority come actually from..China ?? I was very surprised !!!

Better check labels and take vitamins like a, c etc from one bottle. Switzerland etc..are more reliable.

I would be careful about made in USA also...something to do with trade laws.

Pity i do not remember the safe brands..I will ask the Q later or do a search.

Think of all those "miraculous:" teas as well. Pu-er which never demonstrated that it made you lose weight than any other..etc..

Tink : you think because you buy fish with the stamp made in the US or Canada actually come from where you live ??when they can actually come from polluted waters in Indonesia ? They traced many facturers listed : they do not even exist anymore LOL !!! Factories empty so why put the address ??

There are all kinds of shady laws lol..Even my so called Canadian"gown" garlic...comes from China.

Just like food...the last stamp will be shown !! all kind of deals blah blah..market.

Just as large as the pharmaceutical industry (why? many of them are made in the same factories) - - and growing every year. I'm actually wondering how soon it will take some of the hard core supplement proponents to start conspiracy theories about Big Pharm-er.
