just been out and had a few drinks but my back is really bad is it safe to take 2 tramadol..

It really depends on, well, how much you drank.
Both Tramadol and alcohol are depressants, meaning they can slow your breathing. Taking the two together can thus be dangerous if you've had a lot to drink.
If you decide to take it anyway, I'd recommend only taking one.
