thumb protector for the MCP joint?!
Question: Thumb protector for the MCP joint?
For some reason, I keep jamming my left thumb. I'm afraid that if I jam it any more, I will have permanent damage. I have the tee pee thumb protector. It doesn't work perfectly because it's sort of bulky and loose.
Is there a thumb protector out there that could hold my thumb in place and basically restrict any movement of my MCP joint, but at the same time, allow my wrist to move freely.

Answers:
it all depends on where you keep jamming it. If you insert it into a cutting machine then sooner or later you're going to cause permanent damage. You can get chain-male gloves that some meat producers use. That might protect you from jamming it into places you shouldn't
