Question: Ever feel like you want to punch something?
Will that make me feel better? I've never done such a thing.

as long as you aren't hurting anyone or setting an example for a child to see, go into a room and close the door and punch that pillow until you are so tired you can't hit it anymore!

Last time I went for a walk because I was truly upset I ended up going 20 miles - through Hell. I think it's a good metaphor....yeah, wearing yourself out is good, but be careful hitting things....I've broken hands and feet doing that. Those don't heal real well. Now I have the gym membership at a place with a heavy bag (for boxing)

Good Luck - maybe just some good old fashioned shouting it out might help. I usually feel better after.

Absolutely, do the pillow.
I have a friend who used a door 20 years ago.
He still can't fully use his hand.
