Answers:
Whey is one of the highest quantities per volume (meaning you get the most protein per ounce swallowed) and most easily absorbed sources!. Usually you can get a good high amount of protein from a Whey Protein powder without filling up too much (like meat would do), plus you get a good variety of the beneficial Amino Acids from the non-heated protein in the Whey!.
As an added benefit, you could also try taking extra L-Arginine, Butcher's Broom, Cayenne, Niacin, and/or Horse Chestnut since those help increase circulation and can help the healing!. Good luck with your injury!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Merely eating protein is NOT going to fix a pressure sore (bed sore) situation!. This person needs to be turned every 20 minutes!. Where is the spinal cord injury!? (In other words, is this person a quadrapelegic or a parapelegic, or do they have a Spina bifida issue!? Pressure sores are NOT an issue of getting enough protein, so much as they are an issue of good nursing care!. Is the person bedridden, or in a wheelchair all day!? Are urine or feces exacerbating the problem!? If so, the patient may need to be catheterized!. The KEY with pressure sores is preventing their formation in the first place!. Once present, they can go from bad to worse, incredibly quickly!. They also can quickly lead to the death of the patient from sepsis (infection)!. This needs to be dealt with NOW, and it needs to be dealt with extremely forcefully and extremely strongly!. In other words, if the nursing staff is not turning your family member every 20 minutes and doing wound care several times/day, then you as family members need to!. Period!. How big is the wound in inches, and where is it!? With some folks, once the skin gets very thin, and the person very boney, there's not going to be much, if anything, you can do to prevent pressure sores!. Sometimes pressure sores are skin grafted to fix them, but if the pt!. isn't being well-cared for, well-fed, well cleaned, well-nourished, well-attended to, and sometimes even if they are, the pressure sores will just return or the graft will not heal correctly, so talk to the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
