I have a really good friend who recently moved away who used Lomotil all the time for Krohn's disease. It helped her immensely. For a long time, she couldn't go out shopping or anything for long periods of time, because she'd have to run to the bathroom all the time. She was always afraid she wouldn't make it in time. I have no idea about the fertility aspects, I know it has some absorption properties, but I can't imagine they would affect fertility. I know the pill gave her new life, she could resume going out in public. You could look it up on line and the md should know. Good luck.
