No.
The vagina is naturally acidic - this is the why it keeps itself clean and keeps the smells down.
Adding Bicarb will netralise that acidity and can cause an imbalance in your normal good vaginal bacteria.

I too was told this as a teenager - to use it to stop itching around that area.

If you are looking for a natural way to treat thrush you could try natural yoghurt that has the good bacteria in it (acidofolus bifidis). This is the bacteria that normally keeps the thrush at bay. I dont think that the research shows this is highly effective.

The best thing to do is to get some over the counter anti fungal cream from the pharmacy and use that. You can also take one tablet which fixes it overnight. Make sure you wash and dry really well, dont use perfumes or strong soaps. Wear cotton undies.
I dont think there are any nasty side effects from using bicar so it might be worth a try but probably wont do much.

No. Bicarbonate will just lower the pH of your mouth.
You will need antifungal medication to treat thrush. See your doctor.
