How do you rehydrate old dried out weed?!

Question: Found a bag that I'd lost I think at least a year ago. Is it a lost cause?

There are a few different methods but be warned- whatever ingredient you use, that's what your smoke will taste of.

I would suggest put into a seal tight jar or bag with a slice of bread of with some mango peel. Check every 12 hours. Mould can develop if you dont keep an eye on things. The orange peel suggested is of course a more classic option.

I have alse heard that you can put it in a film canister and run the canister under the hot tap, but I don't know if that will work :)

orange peel but that sonds old. remember mold=bad

Why do you gotta rehydrate it the more dry and crumbly the better the high i used to find! Its the soaking wet stuff thats shite! Oh and quit before you smoke all day everyday coz that fu#ks you up!

put a slice of fruit in with it, as well as rehydrating it, it will also give a new fruity taste to ur shmoke grapes, oranges, apples.... hmm i wish i had some to smoke.... can ya pass the joint here? :p

The best way to rehydrate it is to smoke it!

I use a tincture made from the stems and seeds of past bags.
Soak the stems and seeds in GRAIN ALCOHOL for a few days, until the color has drained from the stems into the alcohol.
Put five or six drops of this tincture on a piece of paper towel and put it in the bag. Seal the bag and wait a few days for the alcohol to evaporate. The smoking material will have a slightly alcohol taste but it will be more potent and taste real good.
